We begin to remember the life of Christ starting with His baptism. In the account of this event we see the trinity, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. And the Prophet Isaiah reminds us that the Servant of the Lord who came would have the Sprit of God placed upon Him. This One is Jesus. Come and join us as we celebrate and discuss Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
This week we take a few steps into a New Year and trust God with everything that might lie ahead in it. God is always doing a new thing in our hearts, minds, and lives when we surrender them over to His plan and purpose. Join us this week as we discover “All Things New” and how God longs for us to join Him in this New Year.
This week, we will learn to pray with anticipation. I am sure you get excited knowing something is about to happen or someone is about to visit. How do you prepare for their arrival? Prayer is one way we can prepare our hearts and minds this season to experience Christ anew.
This week, we discuss what it means to Think About These Things. The world races from one holiday to the next and we get caught up in the race when we ought to be slowing down and ponder the story once again so that it renews us to celebrate the meaning of Christmas. How do we do that? In this sermon, we discuss just how Mary, the mother of Jesus thought about he call into God’s plan.
We head into our second week of learning what it means to LEAP toward God's Plan. By Embracing everything that today has, everything that God is doing and Embracing Jesus more and more, we will live the life He has created for us to live.
We begin our sermon series on LEAP with a look at what it means to Let go of the past. Letting go of the past is our first step in taking the LEAP toward the plan God has for us personally and as a Church.
We begin this week with an introduction to our next mini-sermon series which will be entitled LEAP. As a church and as personal followers of Jesus we are being asked to LEAP into what God has planned for us.
Jesus reminds us in a parable that we must build our house, our faith, our life upon the solid rock and not shifting sand. Today we are reminded and encouraged about Jesus is the Rock!
We continue in our series “We Believe” focusing on the largest portion of the Apostle’s Creed— We believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son our Lord.
Often times we ask God, “How Long, O Lord.” And He is asking us to remain patient for His time, for His will to be done. We do not know how long, but we do know the One in whose hands we can place our today, tomorrow, and future. Join us for worship.
